Description
HDR is hiring a mid-career Structural Engineer to join its Building Engineering Services group in Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves independently leading structural design work across healthcare, civic, technology, commercial, water, and light-industrial projects, coordinating design and construction documents, reviewing documents for conflicts, preparing specifications and calculations, conducting site visits, and leading construction administration. The engineer will also mentor early-career engineers and collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines. A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a professional engineering license for the work location, and 5–8 years of progressive structural engineering experience are required; a master’s degree and structural-engineering licensure are preferred.
