Description
ACCO is seeking a structural engineer to independently deliver engineering services from conceptual design through construction completion. The role involves planning and coordinating complex projects, developing construction drawings, performing equipment anchorage, vibration isolation, seismic restraint, roof and supplemental steel support calculations and designs, preparing PE-stamped installation packages and bills of materials, verifying existing roof structures, and coordinating with project, construction, service, controls, and trade teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering, at least three years of relevant firm experience, strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, building codes, seismic bracing and support design, drafting or 3D modeling software, and effective communication and organizational skills.
