Simpson Gumpertz & Heger is hiring a Project Consultant for its Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure team to perform structural analyses, design and repair structures, conduct finite-element analyses with Abaqus and ANSYS, prepare engineering reports and drawings, support field inspections and laboratory work, and communicate with clients. The role requires at least two years of professional experience in structural engineering or engineering mechanics, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, FEA experience preferred, and the ability to obtain Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer registration within five years. The position offers a base salary of $82,680 to $108,160 USD, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and medical, dental, and vision insurance among other benefits.
