Description
AECOM is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to provide senior technical leadership for structural design teams and multidisciplinary project teams, particularly in mining and industrial projects. The role covers structural design from concept through detailed design and construction, quality control of calculations and drawings, technical specifications, compliance with standards, multidisciplinary design reviews, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have at least 15 years of civil engineering experience, CPEng accreditation and MIEAust membership, Queensland Registered Professional Engineer registration, and experience with concrete and steel structures, mining and industrial projects, and structural engineering software such as SpaceGass and Strand7. The position offers hybrid work options and requires in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
