Description
AECOM is hiring a Structural Engineer III to lead bridge design and project management for transportation projects in Connecticut and other states through AECOM’s Northeast region. The role covers conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of new bridges, assessment and rehabilitation of existing bridges, load evaluation, design documentation, construction support, quality control, cost and schedule estimates, and interdisciplinary review. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering plus four years of relevant transportation-structures experience or equivalent education and experience, a Professional Engineer license, and willingness to obtain reciprocity. A master’s degree in structural engineering, CTDOT project experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Microstation, and OpenBridge are preferred.
