Description
Atoms is hiring a Structural Engineer to lead structural design and analysis for physical infrastructure, including food-production facilities, industrial and logistics buildings, and EV/AV charging infrastructure. The role covers structural calculations, drawings, specifications, geotechnical reviews, foundation design, permit submittals, AHJ plan review, site assessments, vendor submittal evaluation, and standardized design templates. It requires 7–10 years of structural engineering experience, foundation and support-structure experience, knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC, and the ability to work across multiple business lines. The position is onsite in San Francisco and offers a base salary of $160,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity, bonus, and health, retirement, and leave benefits.
