Description
The Structural Engineer will design, analyze, and modify high-temperature industrial equipment for fired heaters, boilers, waste heat recovery units, and steam methane reformers. Responsibilities include structural steel and foundation design, wind and seismic analysis, vibration analysis, transport and erection support, vendor and client drawing reviews, and coordination with project teams. The role requires a structural engineering degree, EIT status with an expectation of PE licensure, at least five years of technical structural engineering experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors, and proficiency with STAAD, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Excel, and relevant design codes. The position is based in Houston, Texas or Tulsa, Oklahoma, with no visa sponsorship.
