Description
The Civil Infrastructure Structural Engineer independently designs concrete and steel structural components for bridges, underpasses, pumping stations, quay walls, and foundations. The role covers load determination, structural calculations, digital models, reinforcement and connection sizing, stability and deformation analysis, calculation reports, and technical substantiation of design deviations. The engineer works in a multidisciplinary infrastructure consultancy, manages complete structural work packages, and collaborates with modelers, geotechnical consultants, designers, and project managers. The position requires an HBO or WO degree in civil or structural engineering, relevant experience, knowledge of structural mechanics and Eurocodes, and the ability to perform independent calculations.
