Description
Dashiell is hiring a Structural Engineer to provide civil and structural design support for high-voltage electric substation and transmission projects. The role develops steel and foundation detail drawings, applies structural design software, coordinates with project teams and vendors, and ensures compliance with engineering standards. The position is based in Dashiell’s Chicago, Illinois office, with possible short-term travel, and reports to a Supervising Structural Engineer. Candidates must hold a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience, be licensed or able to obtain licensure within one year, and have at least three years of direct concrete and structural steel engineering experience. Compensation is $80,000 to $180,000 annually, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
