Description
The Civil Engineer performs take-offs and material quotes, answers engineering questions, prepares submittal packages, tracks projects, and provides technical guidance to engineers and contractors. The role also identifies project and value-engineering opportunities, follows up with potential customers, and participates in technical committees. It requires a civil, geotechnical, or structural engineering degree or equivalent, five years of relevant experience, engineering-documentation and CAD skills, and strong communication and customer-service abilities.
