Description
HDR is hiring a mid-career Structural Engineer for its Building Engineering Services group in Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role independently leads structural design work across healthcare, civic, technology, commercial, water, and light industrial projects, including high-seismic projects; coordinates structural teams and interdisciplinary designs, supports permitting and construction administration, prepares specifications and calculations, reviews documents, and mentors earlier-career engineers. A bachelor's degree, professional engineering license, structural engineering experience, consulting-firm experience, and proficiency with structural design software are required; a master's degree, 5–8 years of progressive experience, and an SE license or NCEES qualification are preferred.
