Structural Engineer at HMH

Description

This role involves conducting category inspections according to API RP 4G standards, supervising the quality of structural and piping components, and providing drafting and engineering support to the Engineering Department. The engineer will also offer technical assistance to clients and suppliers, overseeing fabrication, installation, survey, and repair work at various sites.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: five (5) + experience in structural and/or piping fabrication and repairs
five (5) + years’ experience working on oil drilling rigs (onshore and offshore)
Preferred Qualifications: American Welding Society – Certified Welding Inspector
ASNT Level II or III or CSWIP 3.1 or higher
Proficiency in AutoCAD, any 3-D software
Ability to read piping one-line and isometric drawings
Excellent analytical skills
Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferably proficient in written and reading comprehension of English
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
Ability to support co-worker with technical inquiries & training
