Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Structural Engineer to support its manufacturing plants by performing structural design for industrial projects involving gravity, lateral, and equipment loading; preparing construction documents; conducting site investigations and measurements; developing engineering calculations; collaborating with project and construction teams; and providing subject-matter-expert reviews and mentorship. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, at least six years of structural engineering experience, relevant software knowledge, and a Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer license. It is a hybrid position requiring at least two days per week at the Atlanta or Green Bay headquarters, with up to 40% travel to manufacturing sites.
