Description
The Structural Engineer performs FEED, studies, detailed design, analysis, calculations, and design verification for straightforward to moderately complex structural engineering work. The role involves preparing design reports, coordinating with other disciplines, reviewing vendor data and subcontract documents, assisting with bid evaluations, and supporting trainee engineers. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, 3–8 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant, and familiarity with standards, codes, and design analysis methods.
