Description
The Structural Engineer performs FEED, studies, detailed design, analysis, calculations, design verification, and engineering checks for straightforward to complex structural engineering tasks. The role collaborates with design, drafting, construction, fabrication, and document-control disciplines, supports subcontract and vendor documentation, and may supervise trainee engineers. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, 3–8 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant, and familiarity with standards, codes, and design techniques.
