MKEC is hiring a Structural Engineer for its Architectural Engineering team in Wichita, with an in-office arrangement. The role supports the design of schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and commercial and industrial projects through detailed drawings, electronic models, specifications, reports, calculations, material selection, proposals, client presentations, and site observations. The engineer will also provide leadership and guidance to production staff. The position requires a B.S. in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 3–6 years of relevant experience, familiarity with structural drafting and analysis software, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a Kansas PE license is preferred or on track to obtain.
