Description

AECOM is hiring a Structural Engineer for its Data Center practice to perform structural design and analysis for hyperscale and colocation data center buildings, including concrete, steel, precast, and foundation systems. The role is primarily remote with occasional advance-scheduled travel, requires a U.S. Professional Engineer license and at least six years of relevant experience, and includes coordination with multidisciplinary teams, client engagement, mentorship, and support for business development. Relocation and sponsorship are not available.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of professional experience in building structures design and analysis.
Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large-scale logistics and industrial facilities.
Experience with BIM ACC (Revit), ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, Safe, or similar tools.
Experience with precast concrete systems, steel design, seismic design, and foundation systems.
Experience with low-embodied-carbon materials and sustainable structural design.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of data center facility experience and familiarity with data center design standards and structural resiliency requirements.
LEED, Envision, or active leadership in SE 2050 implementation.
Expertise in low-embodied-carbon materials, sustainable structural systems, and emerging industry best practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
