Vattenfall Power Solutions is hiring a structural engineer for its Civil & Fire group, with work locations in Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås, Gothenburg, Nyköping, Oskarshamn, or Gävle. The role covers civil engineering design, condition assessments, damage investigations, remedial measures, strength calculations, finite-element analyses, 3D modeling, design management, instrumentation programs, and sampling plans, with responsibilities ranging from requirements formulation and conceptual solution development through detailed design and third-party document review. The position requires extensive structural engineering experience, primarily in infrastructure, civil engineering, or the process industry, along with Swedish language proficiency and a category B driving licence; hydropower, nuclear power, heavy civil structures, RIDAS, and assignment-management experience are advantageous.
