Description
AECOM is hiring a Structural Engineer (Hybrid) based in Houston, Texas, to design and plan maritime infrastructure such as container terminals, ports, wharves, piles, sheet piles, dolphins, marinas, and coastal defense projects. The role involves preparing engineering calculations, technical specifications, plans, and details; performing routine to moderate engineering assignments; solving new problems; and providing guidance to entry-level engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or related engineering, four years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, a valid driver's license, and a Professional Engineering license. A master's degree, extensive marine-structure experience, seismic-design experience, and knowledge of structural analysis software are preferred. The role may require occasional short- to medium-term site visits, and AECOM does not offer sponsorship for this position.
