Description
The Structural Engineer will develop and support engineering designs, prepare signed and sealed construction plans, analyze structures using finite-element and classical methods, and design concrete, carbon-fiber, steel, fiberglass, and timber structures including slabs, plate and shell structures, scaffolding, shoring, and prestressed elements. The role also reviews design work, maintains design standards and specifications, leads design presentations, and participates in department activities. It requires a civil engineering degree, a licensed professional engineer status, at least four years of signing and sealing experience, five to nine years of structural engineering experience, and proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
