Description
WSP is hiring a Structural Engineer-in-Training in Alberta to support the structural design and analysis of buildings from concept through construction. The role involves preparing calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents; collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines; assisting with assessments, investigations, and rehabilitation projects; participating in site visits and construction reviews; and contributing to project coordination. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering specialization, EIT registration or eligibility with APEGA, structural design software experience, knowledge of building materials and Canadian design standards, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license. Compensation is $73,400-$97,200 in Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
