Description
HDR is seeking an early-career Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Design Coordinator for its Building Engineering Services group serving Minnesota and Wisconsin. The role supports structural design for new and existing buildings across healthcare, civic, technology, commercial, water, and light industrial projects, including work in high-seismic areas. Responsibilities include structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures; preparation of calculations, drawings, reports, specifications, and cost estimates; BIM and 3D analysis; construction administration; site observations; and facility condition assessments. A bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering is required, while a master's degree and 2–4 years of experience are preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered.
