Description
AlfaWall Oceanbird AB is hiring a Structural Engineer to join its Innovation team and develop wind-powered propulsion systems for commercial vessels. The role covers structural calculations, hand calculations, analytical methods, and advanced finite element analysis; concept through detailed design; documentation and peer review; application of DNV and other classification rules; and evaluation of structural performance, manufacturability, weight, complexity, and cost. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with occasional travel, and requires at least five years of professional structural engineering experience, a relevant master's degree, and strong knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element analysis.
