Description

The Structural Engineer / Stress Analyst will perform hand calculations and finite element analysis on highly loaded subsea structures, including remotely operated vehicle frames, mechanisms, pressure vessels, ship over-boarding equipment, and development projects. The role collaborates with design engineers from initial programs through structural testing and completion, influences load paths, ensures structural integrity, conducts static and dynamic analyses including linear and nonlinear analysis, transient shock, fatigue, fracture, bolt and weld analysis, defines load tests, performs DDAM, and prepares documentation. Applicants must be United States citizens capable of obtaining a security clearance; Top Secret/SCI with CI polygraph is preferred.
