Moffatt & Nichol is hiring a Structural Designer for its San Diego, California office to design and manage waterfront infrastructure projects involving piers, wharves, seawalls, buildings, and related marine structures. The role includes structural analysis, design, detailing, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, rehabilitation planning, team management, and coordination with other disciplines. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a California Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain it through reciprocity within six months, and 7 to 10+ years of related structural design experience; a master’s degree and marine waterfront design experience are preferred. The position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits and offers a base salary of $135,000 to $210,000 annually.
