Moffatt & Nichol is hiring a Structural Designer for its San Diego, California office to design and manage waterfront infrastructure projects involving piers, wharves, seawalls, bulkheads, mooring structures, and related facilities. The role includes structural analysis, design, detailing, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, rehabilitation planning, team management, and coordination with other disciplines. Candidates need a civil or structural engineering bachelor’s degree, a California professional engineer license or ability to obtain it through reciprocity within six months, and 7 to 10+ years of related structural design experience; marine waterfront design experience is strongly preferred. The position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits and offers a base salary of $135,000 to $210,000 annually.
