KPFF is hiring a Structural Engineering Summer Intern in its Tacoma office to assist structural engineers with project design, calculations, member sizing, detailing, documentation, plan production, review, and cost estimating. The internship is approximately 40 hours per week for up to 90 days, with work focused on heavy civil, transportation, highways, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, have structural analysis coursework, and be interested in a structural engineering career. The role includes occasional site visits and field inspections, and offers $27-$32 per hour.
