Description
Westwood Professional Services is hiring a Structural Intern to support the design of foundations and support structures for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. The intern will assist senior engineers with structural analysis, calculations, drawings, construction documents, and load analyses; learn AutoCAD, RISA, and STAAD; coordinate with project teams; and travel to field sites as needed. The role requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited undergraduate engineering program, communication skills, willingness to work outdoors, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Preferred qualifications include relevant engineering coursework or prior structural engineering internships and experience with technical design software. The salary is $20-$25.
