Description
Westwood Professional Services is hiring a Structural Intern to support the design of foundations and support structures for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. The intern will assist senior engineers with structural analysis, calculations, foundation drawings, construction documents, and load calculations; coordinate with project teams; and travel to project sites as needed. The role requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited undergraduate engineering program, communication skills, willingness to work in outdoor field conditions, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Preferred qualifications include relevant engineering coursework or prior structural engineering internships and experience with AutoCAD, RISA, or STAAD. The salary range is $20-$25.
