Description
HDR is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern in Arlington, Virginia, to gain hands-on experience on local and global projects. The intern will collaborate with architects and engineers, perform analysis, modeling, and design-documentation tasks under supervision, and participate in mentoring and young-professional development programs. Required qualifications include current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and basic Microsoft Office skills. Preferred qualifications include two years of completed coursework toward a degree, a 3.0 GPA, structural-analysis and design software familiarity, and knowledge of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures.
