Description
HSI is hiring an experienced Structural Fitter/Welder for its manufacturing operations. The role involves layout, fitting, tack-welding, and assembling structural steel components; operating cutting, plasma, saw, and iron machines; positioning work with overhead or jib cranes; performing first-article visual inspections; measuring and checking hole dimensions and drawing requirements; and setting up arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment. Candidates need at least three years of manufacturing experience as a structural fitter, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to 10 hours per day.
