Description
HDR is hiring a Structural Intern - Buildings to gain real-world experience designing and detailing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry building elements. The intern will work under the direct supervision of senior structural engineers, assist with project design criteria, analytical models, design calculations, construction details, and construction documents, and participate in mentoring and young professionals programs. Required qualifications include current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture; preferred qualifications include three completed years toward a degree with a 3.0 GPA, knowledge of relevant software, and local candidate preference.
