Description
Michael Baker International is seeking a Structural Intern for Summer 2027 to support Structural Engineers on vertical building projects in Salt Lake City (Midvale), Utah. The intern will assist with engineering analysis, design drawings, details, shop-drawing reviews, and construction administration, with most problem resolution performed under close supervision. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering, a minimum 3.0 GPA, MS Office proficiency, and a basic understanding of structural steel, concrete, and masonry components; Enercalc, RAM, ETABS, RISA, STAAD, and Revit experience are preferred. The position is in-office or optionally hybrid with at least three days in the office, and pays $18–$26 per hour.
