Description
The Industrial Ironworker plans, lays out, erects, and fabricates structural steel in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes inspecting subordinate work, maintaining quality and safety, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, climbing steel and wood frameworks, scaffolds, stairs, and ladders, and working up to 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outside conditions. Candidates must be able to read drawings and specifications, use trade tools and equipment, communicate effectively, and have substantial industrial or commercial construction experience at the specified levels.
