Description
The Senior Structural Modeler reports to the Project Director and produces structural models and technical drawings for design, shop fabrication, and on-site installation. The role uses Tekla and other specialized software, validates measurements, cut lists, weld symbols, and drawings, collaborates with engineers, foremen, project managers, and the 3D modeling team, supervises detailers and modelers, supports drafting, and may conduct 3D surveys. The position requires a DEP in building drafting or equivalent training, Tekla and Autodesk proficiency, significant technical reference and mentoring experience, knowledge of industrial manufacturing and welding processes, and experience with steel, concrete, and wood structures.
