McBains is hiring a Structural Project Design Engineer to deliver structural design and project management across residential, industrial, defence, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use projects. The role covers concept design, detailed reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design, structural calculations, project coordination, client and multidisciplinary collaboration, site visits, BIM and digital engineering, and compliance with health and safety and quality requirements. Candidates need a civil or structural engineering degree, experience in structural design and project delivery, knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards, and proficiency with finite element analysis software.
