Emerson is hiring a Structural Simulation Engineer in Marshalltown, Iowa to apply finite element analysis (FEA) technologies to solve structural-load problems for Fisher Controls and other business units. The role involves performing and reporting analyses, supporting simulation capability development, improving workflows, reviewing models, and evaluating products for pressure-boundary, fatigue, vibration, and thermal performance. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, structural-mechanics knowledge, and entry-level Python knowledge are required; fluid or structural simulation, CAD, Linux, and AI experience are preferred.
