Description
Luster is hiring a full-time, long-term, on-site Structural Steel Bridge Inspector to support large heavy-civil infrastructure projects in the greater Savannah, Georgia region. The role inspects structural steel erection, delivered materials, welding and bolting, nondestructive testing, bearings, expansion joints, cable and post-tensioning systems, coatings, and corrosion protection; documents acceptance, payment, and claim-related information; coordinates with live-traffic and operations areas; and reports deficiencies to construction management. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, at least seven years of progressive transportation technician experience, relevant bridge and structural-steel inspection experience, and several listed GDOT and industry certifications. Compensation is $120,000–$160,000 per year, with health, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
