Startec Compression & Process is hiring a Journeyman Structural Welder to work in its Shepard Shop in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves fabricating and welding structural components and sub-assemblies, interpreting blueprints and specifications, performing weld inspections and quality documentation, managing materials, maintaining safety practices, and supporting junior technicians. Candidates need at least three years of structural welding experience, experience with GMAW and FCAW, prior oil and gas manufacturing experience, blueprint-reading ability, and knowledge of pipefitting safety procedures.
