Swarm Aero is hiring a Structures Design Engineer to own structural design and sizing for primary and secondary airframe components of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft, from concept through first article and flight. The role involves composite and metallic structure design, FEA analysis, manufacturing and tooling coordination, structural testing, and integration with propulsion, landing, payload, and control systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering field, at least five years of composite aircraft structure design experience, and expertise with CAD and FEA tools; the position is based at the company’s Oxnard headquarters.
