Description
The Production Supervisor assists the Structure Department Manager in overseeing production and non-production department affairs. Responsibilities include safety meetings and hazard control, 5S, manpower and attendance management, production scheduling, project and budget tracking, quality inspections, material requisition, blueprint interpretation, employee training, machine operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role supervises 80% of the time and up to 30 to 40 non-supervisory employees, with a requirement for a high school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of related manufacturing experience including welding.
