New York City Transit is hiring a full-time Structure Maintainer – Group B (Mason) for various work locations. The role performs general masonry work, including installing and repairing blocks, tiles, sidewalks, floors, gratings, ducts, manholes, drains, and sewers; mixing and pouring concrete; operating vehicles; and working along tracks. Applicants must meet one of five masonry experience or education pathways, pass a civil service exam, and satisfy driver, medical, drug-screening, English, identity, and other appointment requirements. The position offers a starting salary of $37.16 per hour, with benefits including medical coverage, paid leave, holidays, and a pension plan.
