Description
Axiom Space is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and evaluation of structural and mechanical components for its first commercial space station. The role covers the engineering product lifecycle, requirements and design criteria, preliminary analysis, modeling, documentation, manufacturing oversight, peer review, and mentoring junior engineers. It is based onsite at the Space Station Development Facility in Webster, Texas, and requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related field, at least two years of professional experience, and experience with mechanical design, FEA, CAD, GD&T, and product development.
