Inversion is seeking a Structures Engineer II to lead the cradle-to-grave development of primary and secondary structures for a novel reentry vehicle. This role involves designing and refining structural concepts, partnering with analysis engineers, integrating structures across various vehicle subsystems, and supporting TPS-to-structure integration concepts. The successful candidate will drive designs towards real hardware, contributing to a unique opportunity to own primary structure design from initial concept through qualification and production.

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in primary structure design for a novel reentry vehicle.
Experience owning primary structure design of a new aerospace vehicle from early architecture through qualification and production.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to lead the design and development of primary and secondary vehicle structures, including load paths, joints, attachments, and structural interfaces.
Proficiency in structural concept development from early architecture through hardware realization, balancing mass efficiency, robustness, manufacturability, and reliability.
Collaborative ability to partner with analysis engineers to develop and refine structural sizing approaches, margin strategy, and environmental load assumptions.
Expertise in driving structural integration across vehicle subsystems, including payload, avionics packaging, propulsion interfaces, and deployment/separation systems.
Knowledgeable in supporting development of TPS-to-structure integration concepts, including attachment approaches, tolerances, and assembly considerations.
