Description
The Structures & Backshops Manager oversees aircraft structural maintenance, composite, sheet-metal, interior, machine, and metal backshop operations. The role leads and coordinates Leads, technicians, and subcontractors; manages schedules, performance, safety, documentation, housekeeping, customer communication, training, and continuous improvement; and reports to the Director of Maintenance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, current Airframe and Powerplant mechanic ratings held for at least five years, at least five years of diversified large-aircraft maintenance experience, and at least three years of supervisory experience in an air carrier or repair station environment.
