Description
The Structures Superintendent will direct all field construction activities and personnel for the $700 million Long Bridge South Project in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia. The role plans and supervises construction sequencing, manpower, materials, equipment, schedules, quality, safety, subcontractor coordination, claims, change orders, cost and schedule forecasts, and project closeout, while managing foremen and mentoring project engineers. Candidates need at least five years of experience in demolition, heavy civil, or heavy highway construction in a general foreman or craft superintendent capacity, along with knowledge of crane and hoisting equipment, barge and heavy crane experience on water, construction documents, scheduling, and cost control.
