Description
The Structures Lead reports to the Project Manager and oversees Structures Technicians and subcontractors performing airframe maintenance, repair, modifications, sheet-metal fabrication, and related documentation for aircraft. The role includes directing work, scheduling personnel, monitoring labor and materials, coordinating with quality, safety, stores, and customers, enforcing FAA/EASA and OEM procedures, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, a current FAA Airframe certificate held for at least three years, and at least three years of structures maintenance experience on large aircraft with an air carrier, commercial operator, or certified repair station.
