Description
ADEC is hiring Transition Consultants to support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in transitioning from school to post-school opportunities. The role involves job exploration, career-pathway counseling, individualized pre-employment transition planning, workplace-readiness training, self-advocacy support, and coordination with schools, vocational rehabilitation agencies, employers, and community partners for work-based learning and other post-school services. A related degree is preferred, along with experience working with individuals with IDD, preferably in vocational rehabilitation or transition services, and experience with youth.
