Description
Student Copy Editor role responsible for proofreading and editing all articles for The Xavierite newspaper, magazine, e-magazine, and official website according to AP style. The position also assists staff writers with writing and style, checks content accuracy and potentially libelous statements, communicates deadline issues to the Editor-in-Chief, attends staff meetings, and maintains five weekly office hours. Applicants must be Saint Xavier University students and Federal Work Study eligible, with preference for journalism, communication, or English backgrounds.
