RESPEC is hiring a Student Engineer (Structural) Intern for its Summer Internship 2027 program in Anchorage, Alaska. This temporary part-time position involves assisting with structural design, performing calculations and simulations, researching assigned topics, and supporting field inspections. The intern will work alongside full-time employees, receive mentoring, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams serving public and private clients. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, with coursework in structural materials and design, strong problem-solving and math skills, and some Autocad Revit proficiency preferred. Compensation depends on experience, and the schedule is 40 hours per week during the summer months.
